The Dr. Earth Difference. Each organic based fertilizer pellet contains a special blend of nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, secondary nutrients and beneficial soil microbes. This ensures that the entire lawn area will absorb and benefit from equal proportions of the applied nutrients. Many other commercial fertilizers consist of granules of different shapes and sizes. Each granule contains different nutrients, which can separate and be distributed unevenly, resulting in uneven feeding. The key difference is the beneficial soil microbes, which breakdown the fertilizer ingredients and convert them into immediate growth of new roots and blades. Dr. Earth Lawn Fertilizer contains no sodium nitrate, like many other brands of “organic” fertilizer.
