Franquette Walnut Tree (Standard)

If you live in a late frost area, and want to grow walnuts this is the variety for you. This is usually the absolute last tree to leaf out in my yard so it never gets caught in the snow. I've had ten trees for over ten years and all have survived and been productive. The nuts are good quality and tasty. The black walnut rootstock performs very well in the foothill soil and the trees are large and beautiful.
