I was unsure about getting a worm bin since I am in an apartment, even though I have heard they work well in apartments too, but once I saw this product I thought, it can't be that hard! Indeed, it's not! Even the set up, which I thought would be complicated, wasn't. I have it outside in a cool area, and there is no smell except that of good soil. The only thing that I think needs to be better is the instructional video, and the booklet is a little confusing because it is for this product and another product.
