I use this in the spring for planting lettuce and then as an intermediate spot for plants started indoors on their way outside. I have it on a 2' high raised bed which makes it easy to reach, has good soil in it and helps keeps pests out. Great with the auto vent opener (the small one).
This has been performing well for us for several years.
