I haven't used this on my edible plants but I've used it on flowers and succulents that the deer love to eat. We have extremely aggressive deer and it repels them for a few days before I have to reapply. This is extremely stinky stuff! I recommend wearing gloves when spraying. It takes several hand-washings to get the smell off.
