Organic Lettuce, Rubin

Product Review (submitted on September 4, 2011):

I have to plant red lettuce, only red, in my garden because the rabbits and turkeys don't see the color red. This lettuce doesn't bolt in our summer weather (85) and doesn't become bitter. I'm still harvesting from the same patch I planted in June (this is September now) as I just take the outer leaves and let the center grow, very easy to do with this lettuce. I would characterize it as a soft romaine. If our summer is warm, I use shade cloth.
