Organic Bean, Bush Black Turtle

I grew these beans for the first time during this years' growing season. In our cool Maine climate, the season can be rather short for drying beans. It was no problem for these little plants, which grew strong and matured well before first frost. The pods suffered very little insect damage and produced some of the prettiest little dry beans I have seen, up to six per pod. Excellent!
