The Tomato Craters I purchased 4 years ago are extremely sturdy with no signs of cracking. The red color does fade slightly due to the bright summer sun but that does not affect its overall ability to minimize weed growth, help retain moisture, and prevent cutworm damage. Other similar products I have tried are flimsy and crack within the first year of use. You won't regret purchasing Tomato Crater.
