I was looking for a roma type pole bean this spring and Peaceful Valley told me to get these. I was a bit hesitant because they weren't listed as a roma bean. When they started producing I was very happily surprised. They produced early and are still going in October. They are best when picked young of course but still tender even when they get big, and boy do they get big, long and very broad. Friends thought they were Fava beans. The actual bean seed inside stays small and tender.
