This beautiful cherry tomato variety yields bicolor fruits of rose-red with yellow-gold marbling, often with a starburst pattern at the blossom end. Besides their unusual beauty, these cherry tomatoes have a delicious flavor best described as wonderfully rich and fruity, not just sugary sweet. The vigorous vines are loaded with heavy clusters of 1" round fruits throughout the tomato season. Kids of all ages really love these garden treats. A top winner at heirloom tomato tastings.

Planting & Care
Planting: In early spring, start indoors about 6 - 8 weeks before outdoor night temperatures are reliably in the 50-55°F range. Sow seeds 1/4" deep and 1" apart in a container of seed starting mix. Keep moist but not soggy, and very warm, 80°F. Provide a strong light source until seedlings are ready to plant outside. When 2" tall, transplant into individual 4" pots, burying stems up to base of leaves. Maintain at 70-75°F. Feed with half-strength fertilizer every 2 weeks until ready to plant, then gradually acclimate seedlings to outdoor conditions. When nights reach 55°F, transplant 3' apart into rich soil in full sun.
Growing: Prepare soil well with aged manure or compost. Plant several inches deeper than seedlings were growing in containers. Provide firmly anchored strong stakes or tall wire cages at planting time. Mulch to provide even moisture retention; don't over water once fruit begins to ripen.
Harvest & Use: Plants will grow tall and heavy with fruit clusters. For best full, sweet flavor, pick only when fruits are fully ripe and colored up. Don't store them in the refrigerator. With their beautiful color and sweet full flavor, Isis Candy cherries are irresistible straight out of the garden, or try sautéing them in good olive oil just until they burst and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
