Just set the basket in the plant hole with the green wire above-ground to block the overland route. Put the plant inside, backfill with soil and you're done!

Sure Fire Mole Protection

I don't have a lot of gopher problems, but moles are definitely a problem. These baskets were perfect for protecting plants in high mole traffic areas. These baskets made the difference between dead plants and flourishing plants.
