Dill - Mammoth - Anethum graveolens

Biennial This large dill has aromatic flowers, seeds, and foliage. Mammoth Dill's very large flower heads can produce almost a cup of seed per head! This tasty herb is also a wonderful garden companion as it is highly attractive to many beneficial insects. Dill has been historically used in tea for upset stomach and to ease flatulence and colic.

Soil and Water: Dill favors sandy, loamy soil with good drainage and even moisture.

Planting and Growing: Direct seed dill after the last frost.

Harvesting and Storage: Use the lush green foliage fresh or dried for its distinct flavor and aroma and use the flower heads for pickling.
