Hardy Annual A mix of Tatsoi, Mizuna, Red Giant, Mibuna and Red Russian Kale. This tangy mix of greens is sure to spice up your stir-fries. Tatsoi, Mizuna and Mibuna are favorites in Japan where they have been grown for centuries. The seeds are not color coded.
Soil and Water: These greens prefer rich soil with good drainage, organic matter and a pH range of 6.0-7.5. Water regularly and evenly to avoid bitterness.
Planting and Growing: Start seeds indoors 4 weeks before transplanting outside, or sow seed directly as soon as the soil is workable. Make successive plantings every 10-14 days for a continuous harvest.
Harvesting and Storage: Begin to harvest individual leaves after the center rosettes have begun to develop.
