Seabird guanos have been used as a fertilizer for thousands of years; collected from the abandoned roosting areas of migratory birds. Seabird guanos high in phosphorus (fossilized) are from deposits accumulated over hundreds of years. The phosphorus is readily available and the high humus content makes it an excellent soil builder. Effectiveness is maximized by foliar application.
I used this as a foliar spray along with Micro Hume and Liquid Kelp. I was a little late in planting my veggies, so some of them weren't looking so good. After the spray, they have all perked up and look better than ever!Review by Kim (on 7/21/11)
