This trap is used for the Consperse Stink Bug Euschistus conspersus and not the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug.
Most of the stink bug’s life cycle is spent on wild plants. As these plants dry out, the bugs migrate into orchards and gardens, causing damage to the crops. Damage can be in spring by feeding nymphs or in late summer by adults. The lures last up to 60 days. They attract stink bugs from quite a distance, so they can be used for monitoring their appearance and for trapping out.
One trap per acre is enough for monitoring.
