Graptopetalum pentandrum superbum, native to Mexico, forms flattened rosettes of pointed frosty lavender leaves that become more columnar with age. Flowers are borne on an unusual delicate spike that looks like a hanging "mobile". Flowers are star-shaped pale yellow with dark red tips and many dark red speckles, and resemble miniature Stapelia flowers.
Succulents require porous soil with adequate drainage, and bright light with ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost.
