Note: End of the season clearance on potatoes. The potatoes are ready to go in the ground when they arrive. They are sprouting and accordingly, they are also starting to shrivel.

Certified Organic & Non-GMO Seed Potatoes

Organic Yukon Gold is our best seller and an excellent keeper. Attractive, smooth, thin yellow skin, shallow eyes, yellow flesh and uniform yields. Lends itself well to any method of potato preparation. Immensely popular since its 1981 release from Canada.

If you like your fried potatoes golden brown, Yukon Gold will almost turn that color by themselves. Yukon Gold is also favored by top chefs for making traditional mashed potatoes. With Yukon Gold, your mashed potatoes will be golden and beautiful to both the eye and the taste. When first harvested, Yukon Gold shows unique pink eyes not seen in other yellow varieties.

We guarantee the perishable items we sell to be in good, viable condition when we sell them. Perishable items include, but are not limited to, garlic bulbs, flower bulbs, seed potatoes, onion sets & transplants, bare-root trees, vegetable crowns… etc. If your perishable item arrives in substandard condition, take photographs and please contact us within 3 days of the purchase date (or delivery date) and we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs), or a replacement. Accordingly, we urge you to open any boxes marked as “Perishable” immediately upon receiving them and inspect the shipment thoroughly (do not crack open heads of garlic, we do not accept claims on cracked garlic). Because some perishable items can deteriorate very quickly, we cannot accept any claims beyond the 3-day time frame as it becomes too difficult to determine if these items were delivered in substandard condition, or if they turned into such substandard condition because of having been improperly cared for or stored once delivered.

Being an Irish gal I love me some potatoes! These were so tasty. I have to agree with the other review that the yield was a wide variety of small pea sized ones to ones that were a bit smaller than a baseball. I grew mine in eco pots. Def ordering more of these potato seed this year.

Superb taste, mediocre yield.

This was one of 6 varieties we tried this year. This is the only variety I had issues with, which is too bad because it was one of the best tasting! We had a hard time having enough eyes to split these potatoes much, so we only got a generous 6-7' of row with this type. The yield was also low (because we had fewer plants) at 22lbs for the 1lb we planted (we got 40-50lbs harvested from 1lb seed on our other types in the same garden). The size on the potatoes was quite varied, from baseball sized to pea sized. If I had left them longer maybe I would have gotten more large sized ones. They are divine baked... I'll try again next year and see if I don't have better luck. They tasted THAT good!
