This pole handle is ideal because it is specifically designed for the picker head and they fit together securely, leading to increased stability by distributing the weight of a full bag more evenly.Shipping companies consider the pole handle to be an oversized item because of its length and therefore they calculate the shipping cost as if the pole weighed 35 lbs.
(The harvester head can be attached to a locally bought pool pole and instructions are included explaining which end of the pole to use and how to drill the appropriate holes.)
