Use this handy tool to break the seal on either your Le Parfait Terrine Canning Jars or your Le Parfait Hinged Canning Jars.
Always check your seals before opening. Lift up the jar up by either the lid (without the clamp hinged) or by the sealing lid to make sure you have a good seal.
Le Parfait Terrine Canning Jar - to break the seal in this type of jar, use the sharp end of the Tire-rondelle, place it on the center circle of the sealing lid and pierce a hole in the lid. The seal should now release.
Le Parfait Canning Jar (hinged lid with rubber gasket) - to break the seal on this jar, slide the tire-rondelle onto the gasket tab, roll the tool away from the jar so it pulls the gasket and releases the seal.
