Bee heaven

Hard to get a good stand up but can't beat the bee feed, or the lovely color.

Great insectary and crop. This seed had a good germ rate.

Great for fall planting

Phacelia is an excellent mix with rapeseed which I use for a fall cover crop. Does a great job in improving the loamy quality of soil as well as giving bees another feed crop.

Excellent germination rate

I had order phacelia from a different seed company before but nothing germinated so I was scared to try again from peaceful valley. I bought the seeds because I wanted to use phacelia as a cover crop so I sprinkled the seeds onto my soil and let the rain press them in. Now my soil is completely covered in phacelia and the flowers are just gorgeous. The germination rate was excellent. I will definitely order from here again.

The Bees' Knees
good performance in very sandy soil

I grew your phacelia for the first time this year in Central Wisconsin, as an annual. The bees loved it so they flew away from buckwheat! They were over-ridden by weeds because I didn't disc the soil properly, but my soil depth is only 3", with 35 ft. of sand underneath. I have to water, of course. I did that at night so as not to disturb my girls' foraging. My patch was too small and I didn't plant enough seeds to choke out the weeds. I'm planning to improve that next year!
