General Information about the Potted Trees: Our Trees are all grown in #3 container between 9 to 10 inches tall by 9 to 10 inches wide (depending on manufacturer) using the best quality trees grown in our nursery. All trees are lightly branched and shipped between 3 to 4 feet tall. Trees may be lightly pruned to maintain structure and to fit comfortability in the shipping container. Trees are fully rooted and secured in the box with a stake and zip tie to hold the plant firmly in place for its trip to your door. Tree caliper is 3/8-1/2 inches and tree is 15-18 months old. About Cherries: Cherries are a practical fruit for home orchards where climate and soil conditions are suitable. Once established, they require little maintenance and are reliable producers. They are best adapted to areas where summers are moderately cool. The trees dislike high humidity. They are usually the last fruit to bloom and first to ripen. Most varieties require a pollenizer. Sweet cherries can reach 25-30 feet tall in deep soils. Sensitive to wet, tight soils. Susceptible to birds, brown rot, and bacterial canker. Browse all our cherry trees for sale.
About Mazzard Rootstock: Mazzard which is vigorous, more tolerant of wet soils than Mahaleb (but good drainage still required). Resistant to root-knot nematodes and oak-root fungus. Standard trees reach 30'-40' unpruned. By pruning, you can keep your tree to any size.

We guarantee the perishable items we sell to be in good, viable condition when we sell them. Perishable items include, but are not limited to, garlic bulbs, flower bulbs, seed potatoes, onion sets & transplants, potted or bare root trees, vegetable crowns, etc. If your perishable item arrives in substandard condition, take photographs and please contact us within 3 days of the purchase date (or delivery date) and we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs), or a replacement. Accordingly, we urge you to open any boxes marked as ""Perishable"" immediately upon receiving them and inspect the shipment thoroughly (do not crack open heads of garlic, we do not accept claims on cracked garlic). Because some perishable items can deteriorate very quickly, we cannot accept any claims beyond the 3-day time frame as it becomes too difficult to determine if these items were delivered in substandard condition, or if they turned into such substandard condition because of having been improperly cared for or stored once delivered.
