Annual Heirloom. Widely grown root crop in Europe. Roots grow to the size of a classic long tapered carrot. Skin is cream colored and the flavor is said to resemble oysters. This variety has a mild flavor and young roots can be eaten raw or in salads. Mature roots are best eaten cooked.
