Planting & Care
Soil and Water: Grow in loose, well-drained soil that is rich with organic matter. Avoid growing in soils that are high in nitrogen. This will result in leafy grown and less seed production. Water regularly but avoid overhead watering.
Planting and Growing: Direct sow when daytime temperatures range between 70 and 80°F and nighttime temps. Do not drop below 65°F. For a head start, plant seeds indoors in biodegradable pots and plant directly in the garden when temperatures have warmed.
Harvesting and Storage: Beans can be harvested when they are immature and green or allowed to mature and dry on the plant. Seeds can be harvested when pods begin to split.
Peaceful Valley Farm & Garden Supply brand vegetable seeds are guaranteed to germinate. Once the seeds have sprouted, please understand that Peaceful Valley cannot be held responsible for the many uncontrollable growing and climatic conditions that must be met to ensure the success of your crop(s).
