Works great at first

These are really great the first season, but they do "stretch" out after a while so they are not real snug the second season. But not to worry, the second season, just add an aluminum clamp over it and they will not come off.

These things are great

I live within about 4 miles of the 45th parallel - and live in a USDA zone 4. Because we have heavy frosts until around June 1 and again in early September, I use 1/2" PVC pipe to cover my garden beds, because we have such a short growing season. These clamp tightly to hold plastic, or in the case of my strawberry beds, hold netting, and we have some really strong winds here. I have never had one let go, they are absolutely wonderful to help extend my growing season.

Great product, good price

I use these both for very heavy quilted row covers to extend the growing season and with 6 mil Copolymer poly for seed starts, both over homemade 1/2 inch PVC frames and it works great.

Wonderful for creating mini-greenhouses

We use these every year. We use these to hold clear plastic onto pvc arches over our raised beds. Great for the variable weather in Oregon in the spring for tomatoes, melons, cucumbers, etc.

Great overall

I've used these on plastic sheeting, netting, agribon fabric, and shade cloth. It works well on all, but can be a little rough on plastic if attached and removed frequently. I also just started sawing them in half with a hack saw and so far they work great and double the bang for your buck.
