Our 6 mil plastic film for greenhouses is designed specifically for inexpensive greenhouse use.

The Clear Plastic provides light transmission comparable to glass, even when used in double layers. Not to be confused with construction grade poly which yellows quickly, reducing light to plants and deteriorating within only a few months, this material lasts 4 years against UV degradation.

  • Resists yellowing. Material lasts 4 years against UV degradation.
  • 4-Year limited warranty.(Direct contact with PVC pipe or utilizing a single layer voids the warranty. Degradation due to wind damage, chemical contact or heat build-up is not under warranty. Refer to accompanying literature for more information.
  • Also available in other roll sizes .

The slightly opaque Tufflite InfraRed Plastic reduces light transmittance and diffuses the light; good choice for hotter locations or when growing more heat sensitive plants like lettuces.

Great Stuff

I have had this on a low tunnel that is out in the sun year round and it has lasted 5 years (or more) in the Utah sun at 7,000'. It needs replacing now but mostly because the tunnel blew over in high winds and it got some puncture wounds.

I used this film to cover a small gardening area to help with frost protection. The plastic is sturdy and has weathered heavy rain and winds and is still in great condition.
