Fiskars Power-Lever Extendable Lopper 25"

I've used extendable loppers from multiple companies and these are the only ones that don't rattle or feel like they're going to break. So much less slop than the other options on the market. The tradeoff for this is weight, these are not light loppers because they're built strong. If you need to prune all day these wouldn't be my first choice, but if you have a couple of smaller jobs to knock out these can save the time of switching from different lopper sizes. I love the extension for cutting roots as well as higher branches, I can carry one pair of loppers and comfortably do all the basic pruning I need to. The cutting action is strong, more powerful than most thanks to the lever action. If you need a one size fits all pruning solution that's built tough and will hold up to abuse, these are the pick.

Good quality and decent price especially when compared to what I have gotten at local hardware. Being able to extend arms is useful when you need more leverage or trimming higher in trees.

This tool allows good leverage when cutting branches. Having the extendable handle helps when needed. Can get a little heavy when working overhead for extended periods.
