Simple to use for newby canners!

I bought the book for the interesting recipes that it had and how easy it looked to use. That and I am a sucker for recipe books! :)
When I got home I immediately looked up something to do with zucchini. I was hoping to find a relish recipe and low and behold, there it was!
So I mad it literally the next day! It was so tasty and delicious that I can not wait to harvest more garden goodies and do more canning!

Excellent book to sit and read on a cold winter's day when the power is out and you are wondering how to survive in this crazy world. Now that you are growing your own food, learn how to make it last! Good info on preserving for any experience level. Updated version, but there are still some jewels in there that make you wonder....like "I purchased each of these appliances as soon as they became available for home use...." and she was referring to dishwashers and blenders. Thought that was kinda funny.

    Very Informational

I am a novice at canning and just did it the first time last weekend. This book has a ton of information about food preservation (other than canning) and was invaluable. It also has a lot of great recipes!! A must for beginners!
