California Medic Mix - Nitrocoated Seed (lb)

Cool season legume cover crop. This cool-season legume cover crop mix is ideal for dryland systems with alkaline soils (pH 6.8–9.0) and annual rainfall between 8–20 inches. It includes Parragio, Scimitar, Sava, and Angel Medics, along with Antas Subclover, offering excellent nitrogen fixation, erosion control, and weed suppression. Commonly used for overseeding pasture or interplanting in orchards, vineyards, or grain crops. Medics can be undersown before grain harvest, enhancing soil fertility without disturbing the main crop. Fast germination (5–10 days) and moderate growth (12–18" height) make this blend a practical choice for improving forage and soil structure. Nitrocoated seed requires no additional inoculant.
