Integrated Pest Management with Pest Wizard

Sunday April 16th at 10am Cost: $5

Learn about the best techniques and tools for solving pest problems in your fruit trees, veggies, and landscaping. We will introduce you to the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), including information about pest identification, strategies to prevent pests from taking over your garden, and using a combination of least-toxic methods for the best results. Our focus will be the codling moth, the "worm" in wormy apples, but will also discuss a wide range of pest problems and their solutions. Mary is the COO of Pest Wizard Brands, which manufactures pest trapping and monitoring systems. She has a bachelor's degree from the agricultural college of Colorado State University. She grows heirloom apples, flowers, and veggies and raises Icelandic Sheep for wool in Rough and Ready.
