Just pour 32 oz. of warm water over the Fiber Grow coir pellets and watch them expand. Drain the water, then gently press a few seeds into each pellet, lightly water, and set the greenhouse in a warm and bright location (not in direct sunlight). Fiber Grow coir pellets provide an ideal environment for the roots to grow into. When the seedlings have grown and the roots have penetrated the walls of the pellet, remove the weaker seedlings, leaving only one strong seedling per pellet. After 5-6 weeks, seedlings are ready to transplant directly outdoors (if the weather permits).

perfect for my purposes

I actually bought two of these. I have relatively small raised beds so these provided adequate space for my starts. I do agree with a previous review in that the dome (cover) probably should be a bit higher. All told, I liked these a lot and they did the job they were meant to do.

Great little seed trays

Normally I was a larger rectangular tray, but they always prove to be a little flimsy and end up breaking. This one is not like that. I ordered 3 so I can start some more seeds this year. Everything is already growing great. One thing I really like is that the cover actually fits down into the tray. Other ones that I had before just sat on top and easier were knocked down and didn't seal.

I’m getting really positive results with the greenhouse kit but I wish the the dome was a little higher and less flimsy. However the price is reasonable and knowing that the growing medium is organic is the most important aspect of the kit. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!
