stabs well into the compost bin and with a few twists the wings open up giving the bin a good mix
I wish it was a bit longer though, I guess that's my fault for letting the compost pile up so high!
Might work well with light fluffy materials, but with denser matter I was only able to take slight advantage of the first set of wings. I've never been able to push (stab) the aerator in any further. And it requires a good hard stab.
Also, the second set of wings gets stuck in the folded position, so it doesn't grab onto anything.
For most composting applications, I recommend a crank twist type aerator.
The product is very solid and well designed. I watched the short video, but it doesn't show both the hand positions and the tool operation at the same time.
I'm sure it's a no-brainer, but I would like to know how to use it most efficiently.
We used to use a small pitchfork to turn our compost, but it was awkward to bend over our deep bin. This aerator is easy to use and works great. Also, easier on our backs.

from 8986 reviewsGreat Stuff!
For the first time ever I will know what I planted at the end of the season! No fade & no running ink.
We get so many compliments about this flower. It looks like a small lily with tentacles or antennae. The flowers are so bright red, they really do pop. The curling of the petals gives this a unique look that really stands out! These are supposed to multiply so I'm excited to see this flower mature.
The deer in my area run out of food and will pretty much eat anything. Even things that should be deer-resistant. Something about this flower makes them think twice. This flower never gets eaten. Not only does this flower look beautiful it brings the pollinators. I'm going to plant more!
No flowers are visible yet, but the plants look very healthy. I'm excited to see them when they finally bloom.
This weeder is one of the best tools I have added to my collection. I have had other stand-up weeders. They all work great and eliminate the need to bend over. This one stands apart from the others with its 4 claw design. The extra claws give it extra grip for the hard weeds. I did not expect to use the weed ejector, but having that to drop the weeds into my bucket is a bonus. Forget about Grandpa, this is the one!
👍 quick delivery 👍
Healthy plant. Good Size. Number of Stalks. Happy with it.
My wife and I really enjoyed eating the fresh salads last season and hope to do it again this season.
Tree came is great, healthy condition!
The plants arrived in great condition, they are healthy and are doing wonderfully in their outside pot!!
Already taking off in the garden and seemingly growing daily. Special ordered as I was intrigued by this new variety and the Wild Boar Farms offerings in general. Plant was well packed and arrived in great shape!
Sowed in very early spring (basically late winter sowing), then transplanted to a raised bed that doesn’t get sun all day (zone 7). The colors and ruffled petals have been the prettiest poppy I’ve ever seen! I will try fall and winter sowing with this one. I plan on sowing as many of these seeds as I can get. Will definitely be buying more!
Works great
Love this apron! Harvesting beans are so easy now😊
