Ingenious temperature-sensitive device that automatically opens and closes coldframe lids, greenhouse windows and even skylights throughout the day. It maintains a constant interior climate, something impossible to achieve by manual adjustments.
The Gigavent, with all metal construction, will lift larger panes, up to 65 lbs.
Requires no batteries or electricity.
It can be adjusted to start opening between 60-77°F. Fully open at 86-90°F. Fully closed at 55°F.
Strongly recommended for all our glazed season extenders because it dramatically improves plant growth.
The hydraulic cylinder comes with a 1 year warranty. The average lifetime of the cylinder is 5-10 years, although some can last up to 20 years.
Replacement cylinders are available.
Screw directly into polycarbonate panels, wood, or metal frames.
