Organic Seeds For Schools

School Garden

"Thank you, Peaceful Valley, for your support in educating future generations about the goodness and healthfulness of growing their own organic food.

Because of your generosity, over 4,000 elementary school children in Southern California are able to plant seeds and watch their gardens grow, year after year. Most of the children in my urban area had never even touched a seed before, let alone tended their garden, harvested their crops, and tasted their own produce!"

~Amber Tippett, Garden Coordinator, Beach Cities Health District

In the box you'll find:

  1. A wide assortment of certified organic, non-GMO seed packets. We sign the Safe Seed Pledge every year, promising that all our seeds are non-GMO.
  2. A Peaceful Valley Farm Supply new seed catalog.
  3. An informative flier packed full of information to get your school garden off to a good start.

Need more information about school gardens?

Start with the National Gardening Association's special site

Our online Organic Gardening Resource Center has our own videos and related articles on organic gardening skills. Watch Tricia, one of the owners of our company, work in her country garden. These videos will give you and your students a head-start on basic gardening.

Plus over 200 videos with information to help you with the new or existing garden. Watch them here.

Let us know how your garden grows!

We love to see pictures of kids in the garden, proud of their seedlings or bountiful harvest. Please e-mail or mail us pictures and let us know whether you have a media release form on file for all the children so that we may use them publicly.

We wish you a year of success in the classroom and garden alike. Thank you for sharing the beauty of growing food with the children!
