Insect Lures for Identified Pests

Insect lures help attract specific insects to compatible traps for monitoring or other stated uses. This collection includes species-specific lures and attractant refills for several trap systems. The range extends beyond codling moth products, so begin with pest identification and read the individual listing for its target species and intended application.

Match the Lure and Trap

Compare the lure with the insect trap you plan to use. Check whether the trap, attractant, and replacement liner are sold together or separately. Follow directions for placement, storage, handling, and replacement intervals. A lure designed for one pest or trap should not be assumed suitable for another.

Use Monitoring to Guide Decisions

Keep records of catches and inspection dates, and interpret results alongside crop condition and pest activity. Explore pest identification and monitoring tools for related resources. For additional approaches, browse insect control products matched to the pest and growing site.
