• Hardneck: generally benefits from winter chill and produces edible scapes.
• Softneck: often suits milder-winter regions and can be braided after curing.
• Elephant garlic: offers a mild garlic-onion flavor and large cloves.
• Organic: certification applies only to options identified as organic.
