Guarantee

Seed Garlic (When Planted by November 15th)

Claim Deadline is 45 Days from Purchase or Delivery. (Claims placed after December 31st will be denied.)

What We Guarantee
Our only guarantee is that the seed garlic we sell will germinate, provided you follow the steps listed in our Garlic Planting & Growing Guide. This guarantee is only available to customers who purchase their seed garlic directly from us.

What We Cannot Guarantee
We cannot guarantee that your garlic will remain alive & healthy, or sizes up properly, as there are too many variables beyond our control to be able to do so (i.e. soil preparation, fertilization, weed and pest control, temperature control, irrigation, etc).

How to Request a Credit
If you encounter a significant lack of germination of your garlic (over 50%), please contact us within 45 days of delivery. If we determine that your garlic had a significant lack of germination, we will issue you a credit (not a refund) for the purchase price of your garlic (excluding shipping).* This 45-day time frame is meant to allow you up to 2 weeks to plant your garlic, and up to 4 weeks to check for signs of growth.

(*) We reserve the right to not issue credit for items already replaced. We also reserve the right to require photographic evidence of the lack of germination of your garlic.

Awesome Garlic

I am in SE Alaska, with summer temps rarely topping 65 degrees and lots of rain. We got four different varieties and the Metechi is far and above the winner. The bulbs were huge and in good shape. We planted Metechi, Music, German Red and a locally sourced Siberian. Before we planted any, we did a taste test, making a garlic dip, with the exact same recipe for each variety of garlic. The German Red was a very mild, not exciting garlic. The local Siberian was about like the grocery store garlic. The Music had good heat, which hit hard, but dissipated quickly. The Metechi was hot and stayed hot. I love ht garlic and had a hard time eating the dip at the levels the others were good, and in the german reds case, boring. We figured that the recipe called for 7 cloves, we could have easily done 4 metechi and been about the same heat level. If you like bold garlic, this is the stuff! We will be exclusively planting metechi from now on! Oh, and it grows great. Its huge. Some stalks are twice the diameter of my thumb. The music is a close second. Both are great garlics and are doing wonderfully. The German Red is fairly small, but the cloves we got were all small too. It has been disappointing all around. Even the local Siberian can't compare to the Music and Metechi...
