Tree & Plant Guard

I almost returned these and still may and really should. The problem is they do not snap together tightly. Best I could do is get them together somewhat but with gaps showing where the plastic should be joined tightly together. When I tried to squeeze where the product says to the two halves would sometimes fall apart apart and I broke one of the snaps. Also, one of the snaps was broken right out of the box. My guess is that I got someone's return. Very disappointed with this product!!!

Bought this tree guard after watching my husband drive the mower too close to other trees. It is BEST put in with newly planted trees, for which it now has been put to use. I had planted one tree a year ago and the soil was pretty firm and realized had to work some of the soil some before putting one on it. I expect I will be purchasing near to 20 more in the near future.
