Cinch Strap (100' Roll)

Flexible Lath for Greenhouse Attachments

White, heavy-duty, flexible plastic lath is an easy, cost-effective way to secure poly to wood rafters, studs, etc. Use scissors to cut the Cinchstrap to size, then stretch it tight over the poly and nail or staple it down. In windy environments it can also be installed under the poly to reduce abrasion caused by flapping against rough wood. Used as a tension strap on quonset greenhouses where the poly is secured only to the bottom perimeter, rather than to rafters.

    Worked Well

Pretty straight forward product. I screwed pole barn screws with rubber washers through this product to secure 6 mil greenhouse plastic to the wood parts of my hoop house frame. Did the job as intended. The material is durable and seems long lasting. It was a touch wider than similar products I've seen before.

    Use if Necessary

The plastic cladding comes in handy when necessary but would not recommend using it extensively. Again there are certain instances when this product is required and although it is strong and durable it is also untidy looking. As a professional we would not use this product regularly because of it's messy appearance after installation. In our applications it is used to overlap window gaps and is usually fastened under wood battens and mostly hidden except for the edge that sticks out to create a weatherproof window seal.
