It can be applied as often as weekly, but in most cases 10-12 times per season for pints/quarts and 4-6 times per season for gallons is enough.
Do not use just before or during pollination or bees will avoid the plants!
Mix the pint or quart size Garlic Barrier with water at a ratio of 1:10. Pints cover 7,500 sq ft and quarts cover 15,000 sq ft. The gallon size is concentrated and can cover as much as 10-12 acres; use at a 1:100 ratio.
Use with fish oil as a sticker-spreader to increase efficacy.

I've been using Garlic Barrier for many years, beginning when I was so frustrated with harlequin beetles attacking my kale plants. Since the beetles are attracted to the scent of cabbage family plants, the garlic masked the scent and I've never had any more problems when I spray them every couple of weeks. This also prevented most of the cabbage butterflies from finding the kale. THEN, lo and behold, spraying Garlic Barrier on my hollyhocks I found removed most of the rust the hollyhocks are prone to get. It was like a miracle when I tried this on a young hollyhock that was dying from the rust--it totally came out of it. The older hollyhocks that had lost many of their leaves and whose flowers had dried up, "came to life" again and grew new flowers. The hollyhocks still get the rust (the rust's host is present in our yard) but to a much lesser degree.
I had mites on my young avocado tree, and this Garlic Barrier seems to be taking care of them in pretty quick order. Thank you!
This product did a pretty effective job of keeping bugs out of my garden, including some annoying flying bugs like mosquitoes. It did not repel all the bugs, but it definitely reduced their populations. The garlic smell was pretty noticeable for the first few days (luckily I love that smell).
