Lion's Mane Mushroom Kit

Lion's Mane Mushroom Kit

Grow Large Tasty Mushrooms at Home

Lion’s Mane mushrooms grow on hardwoods, particularly oaks. In northern latitudes, it can be found on maples. This delectable mushroom is currently being studied for its medicinal properties, and a patent has recently been awarded for its production of nerve growth stimulant factors.

The material upon which the mushroom mycelium is growing is a select blend of hardwood sawdust and chips. Lion’s Mane mycelium (the white fuzzy stuff) is not as dense as most mushroom species. As fragile as the mycelium appears, it is truly amazing how large mushrooms can grow from this loose “mycelial platform”.

  • Hericium erinaceus (Lion’s Mane)
  • A 65 – 75°F indoor temperature is required for this patch to produce.
  • No chemical additives or pesticides, just pure Northwest alder chips, sawdust, and certified organic nutritional supplements.
  • The mushroom can begin to appear in 2 to 4 weeks, and can take approximately 3 weeks to mature.
  • This beautiful mushroom has a crab-like flavor when sautéed in butter and onion.
  • Detailed instructions are included. Follow the instructions exactly or the kit may not perform as expected.
  • Please contact the customer service line at 888-33-shrooms for any troubleshooting advice or issues with the product.

Please note that Mushroom kits ship directly from our supplier, and are perishable; therefore they are not returnable or refundable. Price includes shipping via USPS.

    Lions mane kit

This was also my first attempt at growing mushrooms. Just to let you know the kit you get doesn’t look like the picture. It comes in a block. I was able to grow about 6 to 7 pretty good size mushrooms and each block. I purchased three. So much fun to watch

    Lions main kit

This kit was my first attempt at growing lion's mane and it's amazing to see how fast the mycelium spread and grow!! This kit made it super easy and fun for me and a cool learning experience for the kids also. I would recommend this kit to anyone

    Lions mane

I purchased 3 kits. 4 weeks ago. Just ready to harvest 2 huge mushrooms! 6 montes ago I went to a farmers market and purchase one smaller than the one I’m growing right now for $10 so I’m very excited. I have at least six more growing besides the two that I’m getting ready to harvest ! I can grow mushrooms! Thank you

    Lion’s Mane disappointment

Unfortunately, ordering from this site was not a good experience. My product arrived in a damaged, partially opened box. Two of the three mushrooms patches I received were bone dry. Won’t be ordering from this site again but hope they make efforts to improve product/shipping quality.

    Great Mushroom Kit!

I ordered this kit approximately one month ago and have received one harvest of mushrooms. The kit was put together well and came with instructions. A couple steps and I was in business! I recommend taking the advice on the instructions and cutting one or two holes at most to get bigger mushrooms. The kit began producing pretty quick with daily spritzing from my trusty water bottle. I won't comment on the flavor of the mushroom itself (which I think is a personal preference) but I will say that I was pleased with the quality of mushrooms produced by the kit. And most importantly, this kit exposed me to the Fungi Perfecti company and all the great products they offer! Definitely worth buying if you want to try growing edible mushrooms.
