Description
Description
Improved Meyer lemon (Citrus × meyeri) produces smooth, thin-skinned fruit that colors from yellow to yellow-orange. The juice is aromatic, moderately acidic, and milder than that of many true lemons, making it especially useful in beverages, desserts, sauces, preserves, and recipes where a softer citrus note is welcome. The fruit contains some seeds. In mild climates the tree may flower intermittently, with a main spring bloom and a substantial winter crop; timing changes with weather and local growing conditions.
This potted, semi-dwarf citrus adapts well to a sunny garden or a large container. Protect it from frost, provide soil or potting mix that drains freely, and keep the crown at or slightly above finished grade. Water until the entire root ball is moist, then allow the surface to begin drying before irrigating again. Container trees need regular citrus fertilizer during active growth and enough light to prevent weak, stretched shoots. When moving a protected plant outdoors, increase sun exposure gradually.
Improved Meyer lemon is self-fruitful, so one tree can set fruit without a companion. Bees may improve pollen movement among the fragrant flowers, but no named pollinizer is required.

We guarantee the perishable items we sell to be in good, viable condition when we sell them. Perishable items include, but are not limited to, garlic bulbs, flower bulbs, seed potatoes, onion sets & transplants, potted or bare root trees, vegetable crowns, etc. If your perishable item arrives in substandard condition, take photographs and please contact us within 3 days of the purchase date (or delivery date) and we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs), or a replacement. Accordingly, we urge you to open any boxes marked as ""Perishable"" immediately upon receiving them and inspect the shipment thoroughly (do not crack open heads of garlic, we do not accept claims on cracked garlic). Because some perishable items can deteriorate very quickly, we cannot accept any claims beyond the 3-day time frame as it becomes too difficult to determine if these items were delivered in substandard condition, or if they turned into such substandard condition because of having been improperly cared for or stored once delivered.

Arrived healthy. Lovely plant just potting it today.
Came quickly, nd as described. The plastic pot is tall but very small base so I re-potted it after a few days in a large terracotta pot I had. I used Organic soil recommended for citrus tress. And purchase a citrus fertilizer from this company but haven’t used it yet.
I had a very positive experience with an orange and lime tree previously, so when it was time to add a Meyer lemon I knew I’d be ordering from Peaceful Valley. As always, the tree arrived promptly and packaged perfectly. I’ve only had it for about a month now, but it looks the picture of health. I’ve had zero leaf drop and the foliage is pristine. The tree is settling in nicely and will undoubtably be a reliable producer.
As stated, the tree looks amazing. The leaves are perfect, not a single dent, dry area, broken branch. I immediately transferred it into a large pot and it seems to be very happy. I'm seeing growth and the leaves are still exceptionally vibrant green. Looking forward to seeing this produce fruit in another year or two.
Arrived safe and healthy! Thank you!
