Soil & Water:Sow in well drained garden soil in spring as soon as soil can be worked (cold winter areas) or in the fall (mild winter areas). Maintain moisture during germination. Cut blooming stalks throughout season for continued flowering.
Planting & Growing: Cover 1/2" deep, keep moist and provide a strong light source. After seedlings are well established, thin to 10" apart. Keep well weeded.

These flowers are very pretty once I was able to get them to sprout. I planted the seeds and nothing happened for weeks. From my research it seems that larkspur requires darkness in order to sprout. I then added more soil and they sprouted easily. I didn't see this specified on the seed packet.
