To ensure the safe delivery of your product, shipments may be delayed during extreme weather conditions such as freezing temperatures. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the protection of your order.
The Improved Meyer Lemon Tree (Citrus × meyeri) is a dwarf citrus tree cherished for its sweet, flavorful citrus fruit, fragrant white flowers, and compact size. As one of the most popular citrus plants for home growers, it is perfect for container gardening, small spaces, or planting in the ground in warm climates. This tree bears fruit multiple times a year, making it a must-have for anyone who loves fresh lemons.
Why Grow an Improved Meyer Lemon Tree?
-
Sweet & Juicy Citrus Fruit – A unique cross between a lemon and a mandarin, Meyer lemons are less acidic, sweeter, and packed with flavor.
-
Prolific Fruit Production – This dwarf tree can bear fruits several times a year, especially when grown in optimal conditions.
-
Compact & Container-Friendly – Ideal for small gardens, patios, and indoor spaces while still producing an abundance of fruit.
-
Cold-Hardy & Disease-Resistant – More cold hardy than standard lemon varieties and disease-resistant, making it a low-maintenance option for home gardeners.
-
Fragrant White Flowers – Produces beautiful, aromatic white flowers that add ornamental value and attract pollinators.
Uses of Meyer Lemons:
-
Culinary Excellence – Perfect for baking, cooking, fresh lemonade, cocktails, and preserves.
-
Indoor & Outdoor Beauty – A stunning ornamental citrus plant that enhances any space.
-
Nutrient-Rich & Refreshing – High in Vitamin C and other antioxidants for a health boost.
A Brief History of the Meyer Lemon Tree:
Originally discovered in China, the Meyer lemon was introduced to the U.S. by agricultural explorer Frank Meyer in 1908. The "Improved" Meyer Lemon Tree was later developed to be more disease-resistant, making it even easier to grow at home.
Planting & Care Tips:
-
Sun Requirements: Requires 6-8 hours of full sun daily.
-
Soil Needs: Prefers well-draining, slightly acidic soil.
-
Watering: Keep soil moist but not soggy, allowing the top inch to dry between waterings.
-
Fertilization: Use a balanced citrus fertilizer during the growing season to maintain a desirable growth rate.
-
Indoor Growing: Place near a bright window or supplement with grow lights for best results.
-
Outdoor Planting: Can be planted in the ground in USDA zones 9-11 or grown in a pot for mobility in colder climates.

We guarantee the perishable items we sell to be in good, viable condition when we sell them. Perishable items include, but are not limited to, garlic bulbs, flower bulbs, seed potatoes, onion sets & transplants, potted or bare root trees, vegetable crowns, etc. If your perishable item arrives in substandard condition, take photographs and please contact us within 3 days of the purchase date (or delivery date) and we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs), or a replacement. Accordingly, we urge you to open any boxes marked as ""Perishable"" immediately upon receiving them and inspect the shipment thoroughly (do not crack open heads of garlic, we do not accept claims on cracked garlic). Because some perishable items can deteriorate very quickly, we cannot accept any claims beyond the 3-day time frame as it becomes too difficult to determine if these items were delivered in substandard condition, or if they turned into such substandard condition because of having been improperly cared for or stored once delivered.

As stated, the tree looks amazing. The leaves are perfect, not a single dent, dry area, broken branch. I immediately transferred it into a large pot and it seems to be very happy. I'm seeing growth and the leaves are still exceptionally vibrant green. Looking forward to seeing this produce fruit in another year or two.
Arrived safe and healthy! Thank you!
I orrdered multiple trees one of which was the myere lemon tree. They all arrived within a couple days of ordering. It was very well packaged with the other tree and the lemon already had blooms on the tree. I will definitely be ordering more trees through this company.
As described already flowering.
Tree was received in great condition, already blooming even! Planted it in the ground and it's growing great!
