Save a Branch Tree Support

Save a Branch Tree Support is a reusable Y-shaped bracket for holding fruit-tree or ornamental-tree limbs that need seasonal support. The bracket fits over a 3/4-inch bamboo or wooden stake, sold separately, and its vinyl-coated prongs cradle branches up to 2-3/4 inches wide. A hunter-green finish helps the support blend into the canopy.

Use it beneath branches carrying developing fruit or where wind and rain may add temporary load. Set the stake firmly in stable soil, place the fork under the limb without forcing the branch upward, and adjust the height so weight is transferred gradually. Inspect the support during the season as fruit sizes and branches move.
