Product Details

Terro Ant Bait Stations are designed to be mess-free and easy to use. They provide a targeted approach to ant control by being strategically placed near entry points or along ant trails. Regularly changing the bait in Terro ensures it remains effective. Keeping an eye on the bait is important. Terro is a reliable option for those wanting to kill common household ants easily. It is an effective solution.

Signs of Ants and Their Control

Argentine ants, a common species known for their persistent efforts to enter homes, are no match for Terro Ant Bait. As these ants forage for food, they are irresistibly drawn to the sweet liquid bait offered by Terro. Recognizing signs of ants, such as visible trails and entry points, is crucial in effectively deploying Terro Ant Bait.

Once ingested, the Borax within the bait works its slow-acting poison, disrupting the digestive systems of the ants and ultimately leading to the demise of not only the foraging individuals but the rest of the colony as well. With Terro's efficient bait replacements, homeowners can consistently maintain the effectiveness of their ant control efforts, ensuring that Argentine ants and their colonies are swiftly and thoroughly eliminated from their living spaces.

Understanding Terro Ant Bait Traps

Terro Ant Bait traps target foraging ants, exploiting their natural behavior. The bait's active ingredient, Borax, is a slow-acting poison that disrupts ants' digestive systems. The foraging ants carry the bait back to the colony, unintentionally causing the demise of the entire colony. Terro Ant Bait traps have gained popularity as an effective solution for ant infestations.

Crafted as a bait product, these traps utilize sweet liquid to attract foraging ants, leading to the demise of the entire colony. The bait contains Borax, a slow-acting poison that interferes with ants' digestive systems, disrupting their ability to process food. Ants, attracted by the sweet liquid, feed on the bait and carry it back to the colony, leaving a pheromone trail for others to follow. Gradual exposure to Borax ensures the entire colony, including the queen, is ultimately killed.

How Terro Ant Bait Traps Work

  • Ants are attracted to the sweet liquid bait, feeding on it and carrying it back to the colony.
  • The pheromone trail left by foraging ants guides others to the bait.
  • Borax interferes with ants' digestive systems, gradually causing the demise of the entire colony and killing the ants.

Finally the ants are out of my kitchen

We have been struggling with the tiniest little ants coming in through behind our stove and refrigeration up to the counter in our kitchen. I had tried so many other organic options and they'd work, kind of, but the problem never went away. I put these on the counter and within a couple of hours they found it and it went from a handful to TONS of ants coming in and right to the bait. I was nervous at first because there were more than I had ever seen at one time, but within 24 hours, they were gone and I have not seen one in the kitchen since. It's been about 4 days now, so I am leaving them on the counter just to be sure.
