Marigold Seed

If you're looking for a flower that is beautiful, easy to care for, and smells great, then marigolds may be the perfect choice for you!

Marigolds are a type of annual flower. However, this also means that they are very easy to care for! Marigolds come in a variety of colors, including yellow, orange, and red. They have a strong smell that some people find to be unpleasant, but this can be beneficial as it helps keep pests away from your garden.

Marigolds are one of the most popular flowers in the world, and their seeds have a long and interesting history. Marigolds were first brought to Europe from Egypt in the 14th century, and they quickly became a symbol of good luck and protection. In many cultures, marigolds were planted around houses to ward off evil spirits, and their seeds were often used in magic potions. Today, marigolds are still widely planted for their beauty and symbolism, and their seeds are commonly used in herbal teas and remedies.

Growing Marigolds from Seed

The key is to mimic their natural growing conditions as closely as possible. When planting marigolds, it is important to choose a location that gets plenty of sunlight. Marigolds prefer warm weather and need full sun to thrive, so it's best to wait until all danger of frost has passed before planting them outdoors. The soil should also be warm and loose, so it's important to loosen the soil before planting and keep it moist throughout the germination process. Once the seeds have been planted, they should be covered with a thin layer of vermiculite to help retain moisture. With a little patience and care, you can enjoy a beautiful display of marigolds in your garden for years to come.

All of our flower seeds are open pollinated, meaning they have been pollinated by insects, birds, wind, or other natural mechanisms.
