Germinated quickly

Planted these directly into the container along with two types kale and collards (zone 9b, September). I read that these marigolds will help control the pests associated with kale and collards. They germinated quickly, and right now only have their second set of leaves. Can't wait to see the flowers.

Fast to germinate

So far so good. The seeds were quick to germinate in direct sow, in containers outdoors. No blooms yet, because I am only looking at first leaf sets. I'd try the same seed brand again if I wanted annuals. Go for it.

Abundant flowers all summer and into the fall

I love planting this great border flower. It blooms over and over all summer long and well into the fall. Kept its blooms until we got a hard frost. Easy to seed save and in the winter I left the spent flowers for the birds to eat the seeds.
