• Compatibility: check exact dimensions before combining inserts, flats, domes, and watering trays
• Durability: compare material thickness and intended reuse

Build a seed-starting setup

Pair trays with a suitable seed-starting mix, heat mat when the crop benefits from warmer media, grow lights, and plant labels. Monitor moisture at the media level and follow crop-specific temperature, light, sowing-depth, and transplant guidance.
