Collection: Seed Garlic – Hardneck or Softneck

We have assembled a great selection of gourmet, seed garlic varieties for you to choose from. Hardneck seed garlic grows very well in cold regions and the garlic cloves are large, full of complex flavor and are easy to peel. Softneck seed garlic grows very well in warmer winter regions, is milder in flavor, and is a great keeper (usually what you find in grocery stores). If you are looking for a very mild and large garlic, try growing some Elephant garlic. It is not a true garlic but actually a member of the leek family, but has a nice garlic aroma.

Whatever variety of garlic you choose, it is easy to grow, cost effective and very rewarding, not to mention delicious to cook with. Try growing garlic in your fall vegetable garden or in a raised bed.
