Heavy Frost Protection

This floating row cover is a compact frost protection solution ideal for small garden beds, raised containers, or individual shrubs. Each pre-cut piece measures 7' x 7", making it easy to deploy quickly when frost is in the forecast. This 5-pack offers enough coverage for multiple beds or planting zones.

Made from AG-50 heavyweight Agribon fabric (1.5 oz/sq yd), these blankets provide 6–8°F of frost protection and transmit 50% of sunlight, helping shield tender plants from unseasonable cold while allowing essential light and moisture through. They also help reduce evaporation and offer a barrier to light pest pressure.

To use, simply drape the covers directly over the plant canopy and secure with Tufbell Clips or Clip-Its for added stability in windy conditions.

    I live in North Texas with very unpredictable, rapidly changing weather.

    I used these to cover my seedlings in my backyard greenhouse. They are a great size for this and work better than plastic since it prevents the moisture from sitting on the plants too much.

    Good stuff

    I'm using this product to protect the overwintering garlic in my zone 8 PNW garden. I didn't need a large roll so I'm glad this small size sheet was a option. I used no mulch of any kind last winter and had a significant loss to rot come springtime. This fabric is quite sturdy and should last me many winter seasons of use. So far the garlic has emerged above the soil and seems quite content in my pvc makeshift cold frame.
